Rangemoor Road Garden Clean Up
They turned out on mass. The troops from Priscilla Wakefield House, The residents association and local residents armed with brooms, plastic bags, latex gloves and bags full enthusiasm set to work cleaning up Rangemoor Road N15 4NA
Even a few dogs which belonged to the local residents helped where the could. Everyone pitched in sweeping up leaves, picking up rubbish and generally cleaning up the garden in front of Priscilla Wakefield House. After a few hours, cleaning up the garden in the exceptional warm day for October they took a well-earned break. Priscilla Wakefield House laid on drinks, cakes, crisps and bags of good spirit and took stock of their hard work the community had done. After the break, a quick tidy up of the remaining rubbish left the garden looking stunning in the afternoon autumn sunlight.
Speaking to Sue Ann the manager of Priscilla Wakefield House who came up with the idea of cleaning up the gardens said.
I’m blown away by the support we have received. The local residents association turned up and people who were walking home lent a hand to clean up the garden. We have had so much support. It’s really heartwarming to see people coming together like this.
Sue Ann plans on cleaning up the garden on a monthly basis, so if you would like to pledge your support please call 020 8808 7196 up and we will let you know when the next clean up day is.
So a massive thank you for everyone who helped to clean up Rangemoor Road Gardens.
